The Souss Massa Region and the Delegate Ministry in charge of Moroccans Living Abroad and Migration Affairs in partnership with the Delegation of the European Union to Morocco, organized on 14 and 15 March 2018 at the headquarters of the region in Agadir study days on issues related to migration and migrants and the integration of migration policies into local development policies.

This event is part of the national project of integration of migration policies, Moroccans living abroad and regularized migrants in the regional and local socio-economic dynamics. It was led by experts from the European Union and was attended by elected officials, external services and civil society actors concerned by the topic.

During these two days, the participants worked in a workshop to study and diagnose the regional situation with regard to migration and the status of migrants in order to suggest an institutionalized vision of these issues in regional and local policies.
